wbporter -> Can't post on facebook. (3/9/2010 3:53:18 PM)

Since they changed the format of the web page, all of my posts go on "my wall" rather than the news feed. When I return from reading groups or something else, sometimes logging off then back on, whatever I have posted seems to have disappeared. The closest thing I have gotten "to help" is a few postings from their help forums--nothing indicates how to contact facebook or get a constructive reply. Outside of some obsolete solutions, the posts on the help forums just seem to gripe, complain, and commiserate. [:(]

Anyone have any ideas on this? TIA

Abbreviated -> RE: Can't post on facebook. (3/9/2010 5:35:33 PM)

In the upper right next to home & profile is account. Click on account & go to privacy settings. Tweek those & see what happens. Go to profile info & at bottom there is Posts by Friends &
Comments on Posts. See which option is clicked on for those. If it is only you then people won't see a wall. That option is custom. Allow friends to post on my Wall needs to be checked if you want comments.

Hope that helps.

If it doesn't then post this ? on FB status & see if your friends can help.

Could be that you are looking at the news section and not the most recent posts? Just something to check into.

I just made the very same mistake, looking at the news posts and not the most recent posts. I'd check that first like mentioned before.

That was it. I had Top News selected instead of Most Recent. [sm=hammerhead.gif]

Thanks to everyone who looked at it.
