I am concerned that in my town area I stay that I found it hard to share or say to all I am a Christian because some people will eat you or spit you out verbally and accuse you of not being a Christian or some thought you were joking and not serious .So I do not say to all I am saved ,but if just asked by them I would not deceive them at all.
People in my area I got from them that they are ready to act violently at a person at a whim ,but not all and it depends on the hang out too. This has only been happening in recent years . And I dont see why people want to hurt their fellow man unprovoked. Some stores in my area people will do what they like in a store in the public eye. I do pray when I go to certain places or keep my mouth shut if I'm only purchasing things.
Many time it seems Christians won't recognize another of the same and I think that should be changed that why not be excited another brother etc is nearby to greet.

It doesn't sound as if Jesus is in active ministry in the congregations in your area.

Wow.

Do you feel led to stay or leave the area?

I would say feel led to leave but must get prayer how to do it and wisdom to plan it and as one has to give stuff away or sell it some how--
I would also love to move elsewhere and I will have opposition from people to do that if with their well meant intentions. As people may not see being a christian that important or feel material comforts only matter.
We can be in a very materialistic kind of outlook as from people.I'd sell it all just to go. In apartment only.

I'd be interested in finding out if I could be of help... even if just to pray more intelligently.

Feel free to contact me at gcandj at gmail dot com; or a PM.

When my wife and I lost the house in June, we discovered there were many people who could actually use the things we were giving away. We did 2 garage sales (what didn't sell each time went to thrift stores), and then set stuff out and the word spread.

May you find the road adventurous, whether you stay or go.
