I don't usually ask for prayers for me but I think now I really need them.
I am a Permanent Substitute Preschool Teacher for Head Start who hasn't been working much. I need to work! I live at home but could use the money for bills. I've been praying that God will have them call me to go work. I trust in the Lord that he knows what he's doing.
Lord, I need to work! Please have Gloria call me so I can go back to work. I'm not sick anymore and I can work. The kids love me and want to know when I am coming back. I know some of this has to do with the economy because I keep hearing we are short of money. Help me go back to work!

Our Father, we are thankful for this support system where where brothers and sisters in Christ can gather together and lift one another up agreeing in prayer. I am praying in agreement asking You, Lord, please work it out that luvsrickforever may be called back to work or have another opportunity to have consistent employment which meets her needs and gives glory to You. In the name of Jesus the Messiah I pray, may Your Will be done. Amen.

Thanks guys. I'm not working yet but I now realize that it's because I haven't had my physical. At least that is part of it. I have to get one every 2 years. I got the form in the mail when I was sick with pneumonia and didn't call the doctor about it because I was sick. Now that I am better, I have to get one but not until Feb. 8th. I have to call the woman who called me about it and tell her. However, she says if they have any cancellations, I can get one sooner, and I hope that I can. Another reason is money. I work for Head Start and we are government funded and as you all know, the government isn't doing so well. All I hear is how we don't have any money. Since I am the highest paid sub because I have been there so long and everyone including me, fought for my raise, I think they are trying to use me as little as possible, yet they are looking for subs because they don't have enough. I am the most loyal employee they have ever had and I have been there since 1999. I love my job and the kids really love me.
I have not felt that I should get another job because of anything I have heard from God but God doesn't seem to talk to me. At least I never hear anything.
Thanks again for all the prayers. I'm just waiting Lord to find out if I should get another job or for someone to be sick or for the to have something else for me to do. I can only sub when they need me.

Lord please speak to Your child. Allow her to know whether she is to wait upon the teaching position or whether she should look for another job. Lord have You way in her life.

Father, I pray that by now luvsrickforever is back and work. It is my prayer that because she has a passion for teaching little ones that she has been able to fullfill this.
Even more important than that, I pray that she is resting and is reassured that You are in control and You will provide as You see fit. May she be focused on You and listening as You speak softly to her soul. I thank You, Lord. In Jesus' name, I pray for her tonight. Amen

I've gone back to work and will work next week. Not as often as I would like but the economy is part of it. Head Start is government funded and we all know how much money they have. I am a Permanent Substitute teacher but I made sure I thanked God when they called me to go back to work, as I think him everyday for everything he does for me.

I'm going to work 4 days next week. That's even better than 3! The kids kept hugging me today and they loved the books I brought in to read. Next week I will tell the story of Moldy Locks and The Three Hairs! Never heard it? I made it up! Other classes love it! I am going to have fun next week! The lady who does our subbing and is a full time teacher, says she never saw anybody so excited to go to work like I was when she told me that I was working. Hey, I like my job, what can I say? LOL

I agree, it is good to work therefore in Jesus Name work is ready for you
